Vacant Position - Production Manager

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Production, Distribution and Quality Control of centralized Bakery/ Pastry plant.
  • Manage a team of 25, specifications of recipes, Quality Control program.
  • Create daily, weekly, long-range production plans and labour schedules.
  • Inventory raw materials and finished goods.
  • Procure raw ingredients and supplies, receive deliveries, and receive orders.
  • City, State and Country health inspections.
  • Coordinate packaging, distribution and delivery of products.
  • Co-function with R&D, training, marketing.
  • Manage food and labour costs and operating expenses, P&L, annual Operating Budget.
  • Recruit, train and develop staff, company policies, employment laws, HR procedures.
  • Manage selling, order fulfilment and customer service activities related to wholesale and direct-shipping.
  • Manage supplier relationships, quality standards, pricing, and service levels.
  • Implement process improvements and systems to increase capacity.
  • Oversee facility repair and maintenance, equipment, utilities, vehicles and physical plant.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 + years Managing a Bakery / Pastry Department

Familiar with large scale baking equipment, bakery production schedules, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Serve Safe Certified,
